Untold story

Photos are remarkably multi-purpose. They can be informational, instructional, or historical. They can be created for pure artistic pleasure, or for decoration. My favorite kind of photograph, though, is one that tells a story. A single image can encompass what would otherwise require a long written narrative — the characters, the setting, even the plot.

In this photo, my eldest’s protective arm around his brother establishes them as people with an emotional bond. The background of the image places Their active postures convey movement. They were supporting thorolly Can you see the story?

Though a single image can tell a complete story, adding photos to a series can even further expand upon a narrative.
